What To Expect From A Magic: The Gathering Prerelease Event Prerelease Events Are Casual Tournaments Where Players Build Decks From Sealed Booster Packs Magic: The Gathering Prerelease events all follow the same basic structure: you are given a Prerelease Pack that contains six sealed booster packs and a random promotional card from the new set
The uncommon symbol resembles a book, or a shield that is located at the bottom of the card
The card's design is pushing Izzet colors if you want a Room-centric deck (at least for now), which is instantly a departure from the usual instant/sorcery focus we're accustomed to seeing
As an added bonus, if you manage to deal four direct damage to any opponent during your turn, you get to draw a card
