The zoom and focusing rings rotate smoothly. The leatherette on the zoom ring is loose and continues rotating freely past the the zoom throw. It will need reglued. There is a built in lens hood. The lens comes with a front push on cap, rear cap, and a Rokunar 1A filter. The filter shows dust and scratches, as well as what appears to be some fungus. The aperture
