Emma's School House (#305) rose It makes a great tableThis block, from the Reconciliation Quilt, shows Emma's one room school house was an important part of her life. Here it sits with a fence, gate, leaves and flowers above. The original Reconciliation Quilt, by Lucinda Ward Honstain, dated Nov. 18th 1867 is one of the most extraordinary pictorial album quilts known. It depicts events and life of the Union after the Civil War. Photo: International Quilt Museum; Accession Number: 2001. 11. 0001
