The original Colorado Autumn Map was painted on a folding road map of Colorado

It was painted using acrylic paints thinned with water to allow the map to  show through

each piece will have subtle differences

The original Colorado Singing Aspens Map was painted over a Colorado map emphasizing the "Rocky Mountains"

I liked the emphasis on the "Rocky Mountains" cutting diagonally through the piece. I also liked the larger font of the major cities and ski areas. Unfortunately several ski towns weren't on the original map so I had to add them to the map before I painted over it. Breckenridge, Winter Park and Crested Butte had to be
