Georgian Gold Chain Etruscan revival creating a continuous pattern aroundThis exquisite Georgian chain has an impressed pattern of interlocking circles and a bulbous clasp, both of which give it a surprisingly modern feel. Georgian chains are light for their size, as is the case here, with goldsmiths literally stretching their materials since they were hard to obtain due to wars impacting trade. The links were made by hand rolling the gold over a die with the pattern and then shaping and individually soldering each link.
