Described as a "master of colonial parody"
David Boyd 'Erotocello' surreal edition and titled in marginDavid Boyd, member of the Boyd family dynasty, is among the great feelers of Australian art. In this work, he turns to music transcribing sonic harmony into visual art. Flurried, romantic and cherubic, this work is for lovers of music, art and poetry. Boyd traverses themes with dexterity and wit. He was a master potter, painter and printmaker, who is represented in all state collections and continues to resonate throughout Australia today.
