Domaine Christian Salmon Clos des Criots Pouilly Fume ABV 14.1% finishing with the hallmark salineThe French word for "fume" is "smoky", and it is a crucial clue to the aesthetic. Floral scents that are rich and nuanced combine with smokey, mineral tastes and a zesty citrous and grapefruit edge. It has a wonderful, well rounded mouthfeel and an upbeat, dry finish. This wine is a terrific culinary companion and can stand up to hearty pig dishes and smoked meats.
