Illinois State Map Chicago Springfield 1870 A.J. Johnson Scarce Issue map Bushnell Park The cartographic details seen hereJohnson's Illinois. (North America, United States, Midwest, Illinois, Chicago, Springfield, Lake Michigan). Issued 1870, New York by A. J. Johnson. Uncommon mid 19th century lithographed map with original hand color. Johnson maps of this late date are typically scarcer than earlier versions. Nice looking example, pleasing age patina, light damp staining along edges, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Original center fold as issued. Sheet
