England U.K. 1744 by John Senex scarce engraved hand colored miniature map july 2019 (2 different viewsA New map of England.. Issued 1744, London. Engraved by John Senex. Scarce early 18th century engraved thematic topography map with lovely full hand color. Original fold lines as issued. Overall clean and attractive example, light age staining and soiling as seen, spotting in blank margins, nothing major or offensive, any age flaws are minor and don't detract visually. Map still displays well and looks great. Map sheet measures c. 7 3 4" H x 9 1 2" W.
